Maven Bridge Capital, headquartered in Brea, Calif., partnered with San Diego-based Kestra Private Wealth Services (PWS) to go independent, the companies announced in a news release.

Formerly with J.P. Morgan Securities, LLC, the Maven team is led by wealth manager Kristoffer “Kris” Fu, the firm’s CEO, and oversees approximately $109 million in client assets. Fu spent a decade as a wirehouse advisor before deciding to go independent.

Kestra PWS is a hybrid registered investment advisor subsidiary of Kestra Financial. Including Maven Bridge, Kestra PWS has helped 32 single- and multi-offices nationwide to launch a full-service, independent model, the release said.
