Financial advisors Taylor Adams and Annie Norris have been recruited to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), the independent broker/dealer. The new hires will be working in the Little Rock, Ark., office according to Kirk Bell, the central regional director for RJFS.

Adams and Norris operate as Southern Wealth Group (SWG) and will be joined by senior client representative Teresa Ammons at Raymond James. The SWG team members join from Merrill Lynch, where they previously managed $180 million in client assets and generated approximately $1.5 million in production. SWG serves individual clients, families and small business owners.

Before his 14 years of service at Merrill Lynch, Adams began in the financial services industry at Edward Jones. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and received his designation as a chartered retirement planning counselor through the College for Financial Planning.

Norris began her career in the financial services industry in 1987 at Merrill Lynch, where she remained for 31 years before moving to Raymond James. Norris is a managing partner at SWG and will serve as a financial advisor with Raymond James. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University.
