Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC, an employee-owned, independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services Inc., has hired advisors Chris McAdoo and Richard Humphrey of the Blue Water Wealth Management Group in Clearwater, Fla., the company announced today in a news release. 

McAdoo and Humphrey join Steward Partners as managing directors. The two partners and Blue Water were formerly affiliated with UBS, where they oversaw $250 million in client assets. 

Within their practice, McAdoo and Humphrey focus on developing, implementing and managing personalized financial plans for clients and their families, as well as developing tailored risk management and investment strategies for small businesses. The team also has a key focus on portfolio construction, asset allocation and stock selection strategies.

Both McAdoo and Humphrey are military veterans. Before entering the financial services industry, McAdoo served in the United States Air Force, while Humphrey served in the United States Marine Corps. McAdoo joined UBS in 2006, where he met and partnered with Humphrey, who went to work there in 2001.
