Richmond, Va., advisors Geoffrey P. Sisk, Hynson H. Marvel, and Jason Statuta have joined the Raymond James & Associates division of Raymond James Advisor Select, the firm’s employee advisor broker-dealer.

The team was formerly with Wells Fargo Advisors, where they managed $600 million in client assets and had $2.7 million in annual production, according to a press release.

The firm will operate as Sisk & Marvel Investment Group of Raymond James. It serves a variety of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, families and professionals, in addition to several foundations and endowments, the release said.

Sisk, the firm’s managing director, has 35 years of experience. He was formerly managing director for investments at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he worked for two decades.

Sisk began his career in 1984 with Branch, Cabell & Company, and then moved to Legg Mason in 1987. He joined Wheat First Securities in 1991, which First Union acquired, and which Wells Fargo subsequently acquired.

Sisk is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, where he earned a degree in business administration.

Marvel, the firm’s first vice president for investments, has two decades of experience. He was formerly first vice president for investments and a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he worked for more than 11 years.

Marvel began his financial services career in 2003 as an associate with Chesapeake Strategic Advisors. In 2007, he moved to Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, and a year later joined Wells Fargo, where he partnered with Sisk.

Marvel is a graduate of the College of William & Mary.

Statuta, the firm’s first vice president for investments and a financial advisor, has 22 years of experience. He was formerly vice president and investment officer for the team while at Wells Fargo Advisors.
