Alexis Brock helps run marketing and communications for Axxcess Wealth Management, where she has participated in the launch of several features to the firm’s Axxcess Platform. What does your firm do/offer within the fintech sector?
We offer advisors customization. Advisors who work with accredited investors face a variety of challenges to ensure they are delivering the service, capabilities, and experience their best clients want. The Axxcess Platform takes a boutique approach to creating solutions for Advisors. Our model provides the Advisors operation expertise to help service and retain their most important relationships.

What is your role within your firm and what do you do there on any given day?
I oversee and manage the implementation of firm campaign management, sleeve manager communication with platform advisors, and assist in business development initiatives and the introduction of new users on the AWM platform.

I assisted in launching and creating our new technology platform called Axxcess Portal, a prospect portal technology that shows prospects what it would be like to be a client on our platform. A majority of my time is spent ensuring all CRM systems and portal technology across our platform is functioning and meeting our clients’ needs.

What do you believe the next major innovation in financial technology will be and why?
Our business is focused on advisors that serve accredited, high net worth investors. Both the advisor and client are looking for comprehensive reporting and investment solutions that simplify the client experience. This includes the investors directed investments, as well as their marketable securities.  We see the industry largely focused on the mass affluent, and lower mass affluent and the delivery of low cost, direct solutions that directly compete with the advisor for the clients’ attention. 

Our focus is to provide the advisor and client the tools to invest, track, and monitor more complex portfolios that include limited partnerships, and direct investments, along with strategies and managers tailored for the high net worth investor.
