Super Bowl LII (the 52nd) was a roller coaster ride with the Philadelphia Eagles beating the New England Patriots with a final score of 41 to 33.

Even with Tom Brady breaking the record books yet again, this time with a postseason record of 505 yards, Nick Foles and team held off the Pats in a thrilling ending to win the exciting game.

What were not so thrilling were most of the commercials. Still, a dozen stood out as the best:

Best Attention Getter Runner Up #3: Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Chris Pratt and Claire Bryce Dallas Howard star in this movie trailer that caught everyone’s attention with a dinosaur coming into a girl’s room as she hid terrified in bed. While the movie looks like an action-packed thrill ride, these advertisers were not sensitive enough to the millions of young kids also watching the game.

Best Attention Getter Runner Up #2: Jeep Jurassic
Jeep probably had a better product demo in its Anti-Manifesto ad, where a Jeep Wrangler drove up a waterfall, but the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom tie-in pushed this ad over the top and will give it more of a viral sharing online after the Super Bowl.  It also has a funny ending with Jeff Goldblum day dreaming he was riding again in Jurassic Park.

Best Attention Getter Runner Up #1: Tide It's A Tide Ad
This laundry detergent used David Harbour throughout the game, making fun of other commercials, but also making the viewer wonder… if someone is seen wearing white, is it a Tide ad?

Best Attention Getter: Doritos Blaze vs. Mountain Dew Ice
Peter Dinklage with fire and Morgan Freeman with ice lip synced to two different rap songs, one by Busta Rhymes and the other by Missy Elliot. The actors did a good job of bringing attention to the chips and soda.

Most Inspirational Runner Up #3: Budweiser Stand By You
This ad shows a Budweiser associate wake up early and go to the factory to meet with the team which then switches the assembly line from making beer to cans of water, all while a version of “Stand By Me” plays. The commercial shows that donations for those in need went to Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and California. It ends with a nice moment of the employee eating with his wife and smiling.

Most Inspirational Runner Up #2: Verizon Answering The Call
Survivors’ voices are recorded on phone calls with their emotional “thanks” to those who rescued them in the past. This ad shows a message “Help us thank first responders at AllOurThanks.com.”

Most Inspirational Runner Up #1: Toyota Good Odds
When a baby without fully developed legs is held up, the screen shows “1 in 997,500,000.” The odds keep dropping until she grows up and wins a ski race. The commercial shows Lauren Woolstencroft as an eight-time Paralympic gold medal winner and displays the line “Start your impossible” with the voice over saying, “When we are free to move, anything is possible.”
