Kevin Mummau and Brian Bichler have been appointed co-heads of Atria Wealth Solutions' Financial Institution channel, Atria announced yesterday.
The two will be responsible for Atria’s bank and credit union-based financial advice business through CUSO Financial Services and its sister broker-dealer, Sorrento Pacific Financial, Atria said. Atria is a wealth management holding company based in New York City.
For more than 20 years, Mummau has built growth in the two firms, most recently as chief relationship officer overseeing the firms’ relationship management team, managed investment programs and program development initiatives across several hundred credit union and bank program clients, Atria said.
Bichler, before taking on his new role, was head of platform experience at Atria, where he led the design and rollout of many of the two broker-dealers’ initiatives, including the financial professional platform Unio and an end-client portal and mobile application. He brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services to his new role and previously held various executive positions, including that of executive director of platform strategy and head of advisor and marketing platforms at Morgan Stanley and that of chief information officer of wealth management at Zions Bank.
Concurrent with the two new appointments, Valorie Seyfert, head of Atria's Financial Institution channel and co-founder and president of the two broker-dealers, has announced her retirement.
