Bernstein Private Wealth Management has named Kristen Dalton to the position of managing director in the firm’s New York City headquarters, the company announced earlier this week in a news release.

In the role, Dalton will work closely with her team to help high-net-worth individuals, business owners, families and charitable groups align investment and wealth planning decisions with their long-term goals. She will also continue to leverage her family engagement expertise in areas such as socially responsible investing, divorce and next-gen education, the company said.

Prior to joining the firm earlier this year, Dalton served as vice president and head of Family Law Advisory at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where she worked closely with families going through divorce. Previously, she was at Gordon Brothers Group in Boston.

Dalton earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Villanova University and an MBA degree in finance from Boston College. She is a certified divorce financial analyst.

Founded in 1967, Bernstein Private Wealth Management, a unit of AllianceBernstein L.P. (AB), managed $86 billion in assets as of March 31, 2020.
