BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM), a global investment manager headquartered in Paris, has promoted Daniel Klein to the position of global head of client services, effective January 1, 2021, the company announced today in a news release.

In his new role as head of the Global Client Group, Klein will be responsible for strengthening and enhancing BNPP AM’s client services worldwide. He will be based in Paris, reporting to Sandro Pierri, head of the Global Client Group and member of BNPP AM’s executive committee.

Klein started his career as an actuary for MMA Insurance. He joined BNP Paribas in 1993, and has held a number of roles with the company. In 2003, he went to work for BNPP AM, the asset management division of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary BNP Paribas Investment Partners. He has spent the past nine years in the U.S., most recently as CEO of BNPP AM USA and head of sales in North America.

Klein received his Associate’s degree in finance, Bachelor’s degree in risk management, and Master’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Strasbourg.
