Fiduciary Exchange LLC (FIDx), a financial services company headquartered in Berwyn, Pa., has partnered with Bonsai LLC in Boulder, Colo., to offer RIAs and hybrid advisors access to annuity solutions available on the FIDx platform they can manage alongside other client assets, the companies said in a news release.

Through the FIDx platform, annuity products from the industry’s leading insurance carriers will be available across Bonsai’s three key service offerings: Bonsai Exchange, Bonsai Advisors, and Bonsai Consulting. The brainchild of financial services industry executive Robert DeChellis, Bonsai was created to provide advisors with the tools and solutions to manage the entirety of a client’s balance sheet – including assets and liabilities - with the same level of dedication and diligence it takes to bonsai a tree, according to the news release.

Late last year, Envestnet Insurance Exchange partnered with FIDx and Simon Markets to established a unified platform for advisors to assess annuity products.

Bonsai Exchange delivers a curated selection of risk management solutions to financial professionals, including annuities, long-term care, disability, and life insurance; Bonsai Advisors provides digital infrastructure, innovative practice management models, and the proprietary Bonsai Philosophy, designed to generate more value for clients; and Bonsai Consulting empowers financial services organizations to differentiate themselves through innovative technology and solutions, as well as stronger client relationships.

“A key element of managing the entirety of a client’s balance sheet is to mitigate risks relating to longevity, market volatility, and inflation, just to name a few. Guaranteed income from annuities provides greater certainty for investors as they plan for their financial future,” DeChellis said in a press release. “Our partnership with FIDx removes the friction historically associated with these solutions, helping us better serve our advisors and for advisors to better serve their clients."
