Zayed said that both his firm and Wenk’s have consistently been the top two choices for retirement advisors seeking an RIA partner supportive of their planning philosophies.
The new entity will provide advisors with an expanded array of business-building solutions that include a next-gen technology stack; software-enabled financial planning support; an investment selection with an emphasis on income strategies for retirement; marketing support, including end-to-end-support for online lead generation and brand development; and training and networking to meet the needs of advisors at all experience levels.
Brookstone will maintain both companies’ headquarters in the Wheaton and Grand Rapids locations. Their combined workforces of more than 100 employees will work between the two offices and FormulaFolios' satellite office in Costa Mesa, Calif.
Details of the transaction, which closed on July 1, 2020, were not disclosed.
