The Carson Group has added a Carlisle, Pa.-based financial planning and wealth management firm with $200 million in assets under management to its partner network, according to a new release.

Diamond Wealth Advisors, headed by founder and wealth advisor Jim DeGaetano, will remain independently owned, the release said.

DeGaetano had previously been with LPL Financial, according to BrokerCheck. He began his career with Edward Jones in September 2002 and left the industry in February 2003. He returned in 2007 with First Command Financial Planning Inc., where he stayed for 10 years before creating Diamond Wealth Advisors and joining LPL in 2017.

“Since coming on board, we’ve been able to fully plug into Carson's entire ecosystem of technology, investments, marketing and M&A support and have seen an immediate impact in our business,” DeGaetano said in a statement. “We know that this partnership will have a tremendous effect on our firm's future growth and the individuals and businesses we serve."

The Omaha, Neb.-based Carson Group serves financial advisors and investors through its three businesses: Carson Wealth, Carson Coaching and Carson Partners. The firm manages $20 billion in assets and serves more than 40,000 families through its advisory network of 130 partner firms.
