San Diego-based Centura Wealth Advisory has hired David Cariani as its co-chief investment officer.

Cariani was formerly chief investment officer and managing director of portfolio management at Reilly Financial Advisors, which he joined in 2013. He will share the CIO title with Kyle Malmstrom, one of the Centura’s founding partners.

Centura also hired Matthew Griffith as an investment advisor representative. Griffith was formerly managing director, wealth management advisor with Coronado, Calif.-based 1626 Wealth Management Inc., an advisory service of Coyle Capital.
