The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) has appointed Jeanne Hamrick to the position of director of external communications, the non-profit organization announced today in a news release.
Hamrick, who is a former journalist and has more than 30 years of communications experience, joins the CFP Board from Freddie Mac.
In her new position, Hamrick will oversee and direct activities for all public relations, media relations and social media. She will report to COO Elizabeth Stewart.
