Bloomberg ranked the 250 biggest companies in the U.S. to find which ones provide the best 401(k) plans, with matching contributions carrying the most weight. Companies also received a boost if they provided additional contributions, offered low-cost index funds, allowed employees to vest immediately and made matching payments each payroll period rather than delaying until the end of the year.

The following 14 companies provide the best plans, according to the ranking.
