FS Financial, a former Wells Fargo-affiliated firm in Southington, Conn., has joined Commonwealth Financial's network of independent financial advisors, according to an announcement from the company.

Founded in April by advisors Aaron Sehl and Vincent Feijoo, the dually registered firm will be responsible for $200 million in assets under management, with close to a 75% fee-based business, the announcement said. The advisors are joined by support staff member Michele Molitor.

Sehl and Feijoo focus on investment, retirement, insurance and estate planning, the announcement noted.

“Service is everything,” Feijoo said in a statement. “[Commonwealth’s] team stands ready to help support us, and that’s exactly the level of personal guidance our clients expect from us. As a boutique firm, you really do get to know your team and ownership, just like we get to know our clients and they get to know and trust us as their advisors.”

“We’re looking forward to being in control of how we want to run our business as it evolves, helping the people we want to help, and partnering with a firm that’s supportive of the way we want to run our business,” Sehl added.

Andrew Daniels, Commonwealth’s managing principal for business development, said, “Because our core values around service align so closely, we know that our partnership will empower the team now, and in the future."
