Creative Planning LLC, a registered investment advisor (RIA) headquartered in Overland Park, Kan., has acquired The Doman Group (TDG), a multifamily office overseeing about $400 million in client assets, the companies announced today.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2011 by CEO Mark Doman, The Doman Group in New York City that is a registered investment advisor serving clients in California, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Texas. According to the news release, Creative Planning will leverage TDG's experience to accelerate growth in the high-net-worth space in the New York region, while also expanding its sports and entertainment practice.
Founded by Peter Mallouk in 1983, Creative Planning LLC manages over $100 billion in assets acrosss the U.S. and in 65 countries.
