Austin, Texas-based Dimensional Fund Advisors has appointed Nicole Hunter as head of capital markets.
In her new role, Hunter will work with stakeholders across the firm to launch and grow Dimensional’s suite of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), according to a company press release. She will also monitor primary markets activity, provide client support, and lead Dimensional’s engagement with Authorized Participants. Hunter will report to Jed Fogdall, global head of portfolio management at Dimensional.
Hunter, who earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma, has two decades of industry experience. She most recently worked as an ETF business consultant, but started her career at BlackRock in 2002, where she worked for 15 years before joining USAA Asset Management in 2017.
Her appointment becomes effective on Oct. 26.
