Dynasty Financial Partners and Mariner Wealth Advisors have teamed up for a new initiative designed to enable advisors to spend less time worrying about back office and operational responsibilities and spend more time servicing existing clients, according to a company release.
With Mariner Platform Solutions (MPS), advisors will have access to resources that help them provide services to their clients, while maintaining their own independence and brand, the release said.
The platform will use St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Dynasty’s integrated Core Services platform for independent advisors and the firm’s turnkey asset management platform, the release said. MPS will also have access to Dynasty’s proprietary advisor desktop, in-house specialists and home office support.
The portal allows clients to easily access their financial information and digitally engage with their advisor, the release said. Dynasty also will provide advisor support in the areas of digital marketing, investment operations, research, reporting, business analytics and CRM, the release said.
In addition to the launch of the new platform, Dynasty and Mariner also announced that Marty Bicknell, CEO of Mariner and 1248 Holdings are now investors in Dynasty Financial Partners through their partnership, BFFV0, L2LC. They join Chicago-based Envestnet Inc., which became the first outside investor in Dynasty in January.
Formerly known as the Bicknell Family Holding Company, 1248 Holdings is a family-owned private investment company that manages the personal and philanthropic assets of the Bicknell family.
Based in Overland Park, Kan., Mariner Wealth Advisor was founded in 2006. It had $28 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
