Wedbush Securities, a Los Angeles-based privately-held investment firm, has appointed Elan Hiutin to the position of managing director, investments, the company announced today in a news release.
Hiutin will be based at the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters in advance of expansion into the Pasadena market. He will report to Wedbush branch manager Andrew Hutcheson.
An industry veteran with two decades of financial services experience, Hiutin began his career in 2002 as a financial advisor with M.L. Stern & Co. He most recently served as a senior vice president with Hilltop Securities Inc., where he was a million dollar-plus producing wealth manager, the news release said.
