A former Wells Fargo advisor who handled more than $126 million in client assets has joined Raymond James Financial Services’ independent advisor channel, according to a news release.

Gay Ann Monninger and her team, which includes client service associate Racheal Gant and office manager Allison Hathaway, operate Swan Street Financial in Terre Haute, Ind. They serve a variety of clients, including families, business owners, retirees and female investors, the release said.

Monninger has been in the industry since 1995, spending the past 11 years at Wells Fargo, according to BrokerCheck. “Raymond James has consistently exhibited a client-oriented culture based on integrity, conservatism and independence. With this affiliation, we have partnered with a broker-dealer who is as committed as we are to the highest standard of excellence in serving our clients,” she said in a statement.

Monninger started with Wells Fargo in 2008. She began her career at J.J.B. Hilliard in 1995 and moved to A.G. Edwards & Sons in 2000.

Raymond James Financial Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial Inc., which had about 8,400 financial advisors throughout the U.S., Canada and overseas, and a total of $1.21 trillion in client assets as of June 30.
