“We are seeing advisors pile into cash and cash-like alternatives right now,” Miskin said. “The biggest risk we see in that strategy is that an investor changes asset allocations to raise cash when he or she should be looking at staying invested. Cash is difficult to hold because it is difficult to know when to get out of cash and reinvest.”
