FMG Suite, a San Diego-based marketing software-as-a-service platform for advisors, has announced completion of its acquisition of advisor website specialist Twenty Over Ten, which is headquartered in State College, Pa.

Under terms of the deal, FMG Suite will retain Twenty Over Ten’s team of designers, developers and marketers, while acquiring the firm’s customer base, according to a FMG Suite news release. Twenty Over Ten will continue to operate its business as usual until plans are announced to integrate the companies’ product lines with minimal business disruption.

“We look forward to integrating our solutions to deliver the products and services we know are most sought after today by financial professionals, RIAs and independent broker-dealers,” said FMG Suite CEO Scott White in the news release. “This acquisition is a strategic investment in the future of our platform––websites that generate leads, personalized automations and fully customizable content.”

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Twenty Over Ten is FMG Suite’s sixth acquisition in four years, representing a continuation of its expansion strategy, the company said in its news release. However, the two companies were not always partners; instead, they were rivals offering financial advisors competing solutions to market their services.

Together, FMG Suite and Twenty Over Ten will pool their shared resources to offer financial advisors technology that generates leads and marketing solutions, coupled with high-touch client service, Twenty Over Ten co-founder Ryan Russell maintained.

“When we launched Twenty Over Ten, we had a simple desire to make beautiful professional websites for an industry that desperately needed it,” he said in the news release. “Four short years later, we have a large and growing community of engaged advisors. FMG Suite is a great next chapter in our story because the team shares our vision to give financial professionals the very best user experience and marketing tools to grow their businesses.”

Founded in 2011 by Craig Faulkner, FMG Suite provides over 40,000 advisors and insurance agents with websites, multimedia content and communication tools.
