Former wirehouse advisor Joseph F. Myer has launched independent advisory Veritas Capital Management in Ashburn, Va. In his new venture, he's partnering with Gladstone Wealth Partners in Chester, N.J., and joining LPL Financial’s broker-dealer, RIA and custodial platforms, according to a news release.
Myer, who works with a diverse clientele of business owners, executives and retirees, was formerly with Merrill Lynch, where he managed approximately $250 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets.
Myer’s current team includes Teresa Gentry, director of client experience. He said in the news release that he hopes to expand his team further through his affiliation with Gladstone’s partner model, which supports growth through acquisition and the addition of turnkey advisors to practices.
