The board of directors of Laird Norton Wealth Management (LNWM), headquartered in Seattle, has appointed Kristen Bauer to succeed Robert Moser, the firm's CEO since 2010, according to a news release.
Bauer and Moser will work together until his retirement at the end of June, when she will officially succeed him as CEO. Her appointment is the culmination of a long-planned succession process and extensive nationwide search for his successor.
Prior to joining LNWM in April, Bauer served as managing director for the Pacific Northwest at Tiedemann Advisors, where she led the firm’s national family office practice. Bauer, a CPA and personal financial specialist, is a graduate of the University of Washington, where she majored in accounting and finance.
Originally founded as Laird Norton Trust Company in 1967, LNWM manages nearly $5 billion in assets for individuals, families, foundations and endowments.
