Financial advisor Chad Taylor has launched an independent practice called Seapoint Wealth Advisors by joining LPL Financial’s Strategic Wealth Services channel, designed to support breakaway advisors, the companies announced in a recent news release.

Taylor was formerly with UBS Financial Services, where he managed approximately $215 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets.

Based in San Diego, Taylor began his financial services career in 1997. His newly independent practice serves the financial planning and wealth preservation needs of high-net-worth families and small businesses. He is joined at Seapoint by Sarah Izidoro, director of client services, and his wife, Elizabeth Taylor, the practice office manager.

Headquartered in Fort Mill, S.C.; San Diego; and Boston, LPL Financial is the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer.
