Four CFP mark holders have declared personal bankruptcy, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. announced Friday.

Under CFP Board rules, CFP professionals who file for personal bankruptcy are not disciplined but their status is posted by the board.

The planners and the date of their bankruptcy filing are Matthew N. Greene of Lake City, Fla., December 2017; Jay D. Erickson of Green Bay, Wis., March 2017; David Rich of Wayne, Pa., August 2016, and Patricia Everett of Portsmouth, N.H., October 2015.

Details of the bankruptcy proceedings were not revealed by the CFP Board.
