Wealthspring Capital, a registered investment advisor headquartered in New York City, has appointed Glen Gregorio to the position of head of trading, the company announced today.
In the newly created role, Gregorio will oversee and execute trading activities for the firm that support its flagship US Treasuries + Alpha product, which invests in special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). Gregorio will support the product’s ongoing growth in SPACs, which surpassed $400 million in client assets last year, while enhancing its ability to reach more investors.
A seasoned professional with more than a decade of industry experience, Gregorio most recently served as director of electronic strategy and business development for Fenics, where he played a key role in the launch of the firm's first fully automated bond execution and risk compression trading platform.
A Queens native, Gregorio received his B.S. degree in business administration from Fordham University in the Bronx.
