Halbert Hargrove has made five strategic hires.

Founded in 1933, Halbert Hargrove Global Advisors LLC, is headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., and has $2.5 billion in client assets under management (AUM). The firm has 44 employees.

Five of the firm’s newest hires are strategic appointments that the firms says help lay the groundwork for future growth.

Cheryl Burgmaier joins Halbert Hargrove as a regional director in the firm’s Houston office. She has over 20 years of public and private accounting experience. Burgmaier earned her B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Samantha Garcia, formerly a financial advisor at Asset Planning Inc., joins Halbert Hargrove as a wealth advisor in the firm’s Long Beach office. She earned her B.A. from Azusa Pacific University and her master’s in business administration and finance from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Vincent Birardi served as vice president at PIMCO and at Morgan Stanley. He joins Halbert Hargrove as a wealth advisor in the firm’s Long Beach office.  Birardi earned a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in finance and a master of science in information systems from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.

Ariel Bollant joins Halbert Hargrove as a client service manager in the firm’s Long Beach office. He has a B.S. in philosophy and culture from Bryan College and a master of arts in philosophy from Biola University.

Katie Clapps joins Halbert Hargrove as a client service manager in the firm’s Long Beach office. She has a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
