A 30-year industry veteran, Bundy Scanlan brings a wealth of experience in regulatory risk management and compliance to her new role. Since May 2020, she has served as president of the Cambridge Group, a regulatory risk management firm that advises financial services and fintech firms. “Having an active and engaged board of directors with a variety of backgrounds and experiences is vital to the success of iCapital,” said the firm's chairman and CEO, Lawrence Calcano, in a prepared statement. “We look forward to working with her and benefiting from her wisdom and experience.”

Bundy Scanlan is a graduate of Smith College, where she earned an A.B. in government and anthropology and minored in French. She also received a J.D. in the Constitution and international law at the Georgetown University Law Center. According to her social media profile, she then served as counsel for the United States Senate Budget Committee before getting her start in the financial services industry in a variety of leadership roles at Bank of America/Fleet Boston Financial, and later as counsel for Goodwin Proctor, where she was a member of the firm’s financial services practice.

Bundy Scanlan said in the news release that she was excited to join iCapital’s board of directors.

“iCapital is a leader in making alternative investments more accessible to advisors and investors,” she said. “I look forward to working with Lawrence and iCapital to continue to deliver on this mission.”
