ImpactAssets, a nonprofit financial services firm focused on increasing the flow of capital into impact investments, is launching a Giving Fund Portfolio Directory to help advisors and investors direct their investments to specific types of business or organizations, the firm announced Thursday.

The directory includes more than 300 impact investments that represent $425 million in impact investing that have been recommended by donors to the ImpactAssets Giving Fund, a donor advised fund.

The directory includes investments in businesses and organizations that are mission driven, have a positive impact on the community and are committed to measuring and reporting their financial returns as well as social and environmental impact.

“The Giving Fund Portfolio Directory allows users to look under the hood at some of the most innovative impact investing deals being done and it demonstrates the real world impact donors are making every day,” said Eric Meissner, director of custom investments and business analytics at ImpactAssets. More than 30 percent “of the impact investments in the directory are in women-led companies [and] a majority of direct private debt and equity impact funds listed in the directory have women CEOs or benefit underserved women.”

The directory is searchable by women CEO/co-founder, geography, asset class, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, or the type of investment vehicle.
