Financial advisor Glenn F. Israel, operating as GFI Wealth Partners in Munster, Ind., has joined Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm’s independent advisor channel, Raymond James announced.

Israel, CEO and founder of GFI, was formerly with Edward Jones, where he managed about $213 million in client assets before launching an independent practice in partnership with Raymond James.

“Raymond James…has extensive experience transitioning advisors into independence, allowing me to efficiently begin building out my office according to my vision,” Israel said in a news release.

Israel provides wealth management plans and services to clients including business owners, retirees, women investors, and healthcare professionals. A graduate of Purdue University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics, Israel began his career with Merrill Lynch in 2004, and has been with Edward Jones the past 13 years.

The Raymond James website for his practice says that Sandra J. Bogucki, RJFS branch operations coordinator, serves as director of client services for GFI.

Raymond James Financial Services Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial Inc., a diversified financial services company with approximately 8,700 financial advisors and total client assets of $1.19 trillion worldwide.
