Three advisors with a total of $345 million in assets have joined LPL unit Linsco by LPL Financial, the firm’s employee advisor model. LPL is opening two new offices for the new recruits, it announced recently.

Financial advisor Bob Trent has created an independent practice, Trent Wealth Management of LPL Financial, at a new Linsco office in Santa Rosa, Calif. The firm has $200 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets. The team was previously with Wells Fargo Advisors. Trent is joined by Anthea Maybury, senior client service associate, and financial advisor Oliver Trent, Bob Trent’s son, who will concentrate on bringing in young clients.

Portland, Ore., financial advisor Gene Foley has also joined LPL, affiliating with Linsco by LPL Financial. He works with approximately $85 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets. He was also previously with Wells Fargo Advisors. Foley has named his new firm Emery Foley Investment Management at LPL Financial to pay homage to his ancestor Emery Foley, an early Oregon pioneer.

Michael Markovich is joining Linsco by LPL at a new Denver office with the launch of his practice, Encompass Wealth Management at LPL Financial, which has approximately $60 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement assets. He joins from Morgan Stanley and will be the first member of a new Linsco office in Denver. Markovich focuses on portfolio diversification, strategic investment and wealth accumulation.
