A team of financial advisors who managed $250 million in client assets at LPL Financial in Washington D.C. has jumped to the independent channel of Ameriprise Financial.
The team, led by private wealth advisor John Cortale, provides financial services operates under the name Monumental Financial Planning (it was formerly called the Cortale Group), according to an Ameriprise press release yesterday. The operation includes financial advisors John Martin Moran and Nina Kamrani, client service manager Adam Mirza and client service coordinator Omaid Omar.
Monumental Financial is supported locally by Ameriprise franchise field vice president Athena McGuire and Ameriprise regional vice president Tom North.
Ameriprise, of Minneapolis, Minn., said the advisors’ move underscores the team’s “commitment to enhancing their client experience and delivering even greater value.” They were drawn to, among other factors, Ameriprise’s “enhanced financial planning capabilities, greater firm support and fully-integrated technology,” according to the release.
