Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC, an employee-owned, full-service independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services Inc., has appointed Michael Drumm as divisional president overseeing the New York City tristate region, the company announced today in a news release.

Drumm brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to the firm, most recently as the New York City complex manager and senior vice president with Janney Montgomery Scott, a Philadelphia-based broker-dealer and registered investment advisor owned by Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co.

In his new role, Drumm will oversee the growth and development of Steward’s existing offices in the tristate region, which includes Paramus and Morristown, N.J.; New York City; and Newtown, Conn., as well as future locations planned for the area. He will be based in Paramus. 

Drumm will also be responsible for recruiting, organic growth and supporting the firm’s advisory teams in the region.
