Cetera Financial Group has appointed Mimi Bock as president of both Cetera Advisors and First Allied Securities amid the launch of two new strategic channels.
Mimi Bock will replaces former Cetera President Erinn Ford and First Allied President Kevin Keefe, an industry source said.
Cetera Financial Group is a network of independent firms including Cetera Advisors, Cetera Advisor Networks, Cetera Investment Services (marketed as Cetera Financial Institutions), Cetera Financial Specialists, First Allied Securities and Summit Brokerage Services.
Bock served as executive vice president of National Sales & Consulting at LPL Financial. Prior to joining LPL Financial, she served in senior roles at Morgan Stanley as managing director of Global Wealth Management Marketing, according to BrokerCheck.
Catherine Bonneau, most recently CEO of Cetera Financial Institutions, will take on the role of chief operating officer for Cetera Financial Group. Tim Stinson will become Cetera’s Head of Wealth Management. Previously, Stinson served as national sales manager of wealth Management, the company said. Summit Brokerage Services will continue to be headed by Marshall Leeds, its CEO, a source said.

Cetera Financial Group also announced the leadership to promote Advice-Centric Experience Traditional and Specialty Channels.
The Traditional Channel, led by Brett Harrison, consists of Cetera Advisors, First Allied Securities and Summit Brokerage Services. This channel will focus on ensemble practices, independent producer groups and smaller or solo practitioner businesses.
The Specialty Channel, led by Tom Taylor consists of Cetera Advisor Networks, Cetera Financial Institutions and Cetera Financial Specialists. The Specialty Channel will serve Cetera’s regional director-led firms, wealth management programs and advisors specializing in tax advisory work. Tom Taylor will also continue to serve as CEO and president of Cetera Advisor Networks. LeAnn Rummel remains as president of Cetera Financial Institutions. Gregg Ruvoli remains as president of Cetera Financial Specialists, the release said.
