Chicago-based Morningstar has revealed the nominees for the 2019 Morningstar Awards for Investing Excellence, which recognize outstanding portfolio managers and asset management firms.

The winners will be announced May 9 at the annual Morningstar Investment Conference in Chicago, and simultaneously on CNBC’s “Power Lunch” program.

Morningstar selects nominees in three categories: Outstanding Portfolio Manager, Exemplary Stewardship and Rising Talent.

The nominees for Outstanding Portfolio Manager are:

• Brian Berghuis, T. Rowe Price Mid-Cap Growth (RPMGX)
• Jerome Clark, T. Rowe Price Retirement Series
• Dan Fuss, Loomis Sayles Bond (LSBDX)
• Mary Ellen Stanek, Baird Aggregate Bond (BAGIX)
• Joel Tillinghast, Fidelity Low-Priced Stock (FLPSX)

The nominees for Exemplary Stewardship are:

• Capital Group
• Dodge & Cox
• Fiduciary Management 
• T. Rowe Price
• The Vanguard Group

The nominees for Rising Talent are:

• Pramod Atluri, American Funds Bond Fund of America (ABNDX)
• James Marchetti, PRIMECAP Odyssey Aggressive Growth (POAGX)
• Vincent Montemaggiore, Fidelity Overseas (FOSFX)
