Financial advisors Yaakov A. Ringler and Yonatan “Yoni” Marom, headquartered in Manhattan, N.Y., have joined Raymond James & Associates (RJA), the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based firm’s employee advisor channel, according to Kelly Anderson, Northeast regional director for RJA.

“It is my pleasure to welcome Yaakov, Yoni and their entire team to Raymond James as we continue our strong growth across the Northeast and in major markets, like New York, in addition to global markets such as Israel,” Anderson said in a news release. “This experienced team shares a deep commitment to delivering outstanding service and results for their clients. By extending the support of our firm’s culture, technology and resources, we hope to enhance their capabilities further.”

Formerly with Citigroup Global Markets, where the duo managed about $850 million in client assets for ultra-high- and high-net-worth clients worldwide, Ringler and Marom’s team includes client service associates Kevin Scull, Ariel Urban and Joan Brody. They are supported by practice business manager Daniel Lebovitch.

Ringler, managing director of the practice, said in the news release that he and his team settled on Raymond James as their new partner based on the firm’s technological offerings, brand, culture and client experience.

“What truly set the firm apart was their alignment and level of support for our practice’s vision for the future, including our global growth aspirations and offshore platform,” Ringler said.

An industry veteran with over two decades of experience, Ringler started his career with Goldman Sachs, eventually rising to the position of vice president and chief operating officer of the Israel group in the firm’s Investment Banking division. He joined Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2010 as an executive director, private wealth advisor, and Citi as a wealth advisor in 2020.

Ringler is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces’ Unit 8200 and holds a graduate degree in international economic policy and management from Columbia University, as well as a bachelor's degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the release said.

Marom, a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he received a bachelor's degree in finance, has more than a decade of experience. He began his career with Wells Fargo Advisors, then switched to Citi Wealth Management in 2013, where he worked as a wealth advisor for eight years, according to the news release.

“Raymond James offers a genuine client-first business model for advisors, which provides our team with the freedom and tools needed to prioritize our time effectively, ultimately enriching the experience of those we serve,” said Marom, managing director. “We couldn’t be happier with the tools and support we’ve received so far.”

Raymond James & Associates Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial Services Inc., a diversified financial services company with total client assets of $1.18 trillion worldwide.
