Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, headquartered in Milwaukee, has promoted two division presidents to new leadership positions in the firm’s wealth management and broker-dealer organizations, according to a news release.
Evamarie Schoenborn, who joined Northwestern Mutual in 2017, will succeed Christian Mitchell as president of Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company (NMWMC).
In her new role, Schoenborn will be responsible for the overall business strategy for the firm’s retail investment products and services, and regulatory strategy for NMWMC, including management of the NMWMC Board
Lori Brissette succeeds Schoenborn as president of NMIS. She will be responsible for regulatory and supervisory oversight of Northwestern Mutual’s broker-dealer, as well as leadership of the Northwestern Mutual Investment Services Board.
Brissette joined Northwestern Mutual in 2018. She currently serves as vice president of risk and investment client services.
