Bank of the West, headquartered in San Francisco, has appointed John Morris as senior vice president to head its wealth management group's investment solutions offering. The investment solutions team provides a wide range of investment offerings to the bank's affluent and high-net-worth clients. Morris previously served as a senior executive at Charles Schwab & Co.
Geller & Company has named Robert Wedeking as chief investment officer of Geller Family Office Services, its family office and wealth advisory business. Based in New York, he will also serve as a member of the firm's leadership team. Wedeking joins GFOS from Caxton Associates, where he spent more than 21 years as a portfolio manager.
HighTower has hired Steven Feit as managing director and partner of its Treasury Partners team, which is headquartered in New York City. Feit will oversee Treasury Partners' finance and investment management operations. Previously with UBS, Feit held a succession of senior management positions in New York and New Jersey.
Mariner Wealth Advisors, based in Leawood, Kan., has appointed William Greiner as its new chief investment officer. Greiner previously served as chief investment officer of Scout Investment Advisors and Scout Funds. A 25-year industry veteran, Greiner has appeared multiple times on television and in financial publications expressing his views on the U.S. economy and was named BusinessWeek's 2005 Stock Market Strategist of the Year.
