Beverly Hills Wealth Management appointed Andy Fass as western division
marketing director and financial advisor. Fass will be responsible for
the growth and development of the firm's newly launched Public Agency Financial
Advisory division, which offers investment management and operational support
services for public agency funds. Based out of the new Roseville, Calif.,
office, Fass brings with him more than $140 million assets under management. Previously,
Fass was a senior vice president and former branch manager at RW Baird.
Philadelphia
Financial Group has completed the acquisition of the private placement
insurance business unit of The Hartford Financial Services Group, which provides
insurance and wealth management services for millions of consumers and
businesses worldwide. Philadelphia Financial now administers over $40 billion
in insurance policy accounts.
Tolleson Private Wealth Management in Dallas has promoted Richard Joyner from managing director to president. Joyner serves on the firm's board of directors, executive committee and investment committee. Joyner has more than 25 years of experience in advising ultra-affluent families on their wealth management needs. Before joining Tolleson, Joyner was a tax partner and director of the Southwest area personal financial counseling practice at Ernst & Young.
Capital Guardian hired Luis Alegre as managing director of international investments. Based in the firm's Miami office, Alegre brings 26 years of experience as a multilingual, senior executive in the financial service and telecommunication industries. Most recently, Alegre was vice president at AllianceBernstein, where he developed the small and midsize domestic and international banking business, managing more than $330 million of assets for affluent domestic and international individuals and global institutions.
