Baceline Investments has opened an
office in Austin, Tex. The firm said the office was created because of the area's high concentration of investors and the fact that it is home to seven of
the firm's real estate properties. Dusty Batsell, Baceline's
director of leasing since 2009, will oversee operations in the new location.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management portfolio manager Dan Fasciano has been elected president of the Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS), the regional chapter of the CFA Institute. Fasciano, a 20-year financial services industry veteran, began his one-year term as president on July 1. The BSAS, which is the 4th largest chapter in the world, is a non-profit professional society aimed at promoting high ethical standards, career development, and networking among its members, who represent more than 600 local investment firms.
Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, a national real estate law firm, has named Michael Ray a partner in the firm's corporate and real estate private equity practice areas. He is based in the firm's Los Angeles office. Ray was previously a corporate partner with Husch Blackwell LLP.
Northern Trust has promoted Norman Greenidge to national director of the professional athlete group. Greenidge will be responsible for meeting the unique wealth management needs of professional athletes through Northern Trust's core services of financial planning, investment management and private banking. Greenidge, with Northern Trust since 1996, most recently served as a managing director in the Los Angeles office.
