Chicago-based Oranj has added strategies from Liberty One Investment Management to its model marketplace.
Unlike many of the strategies on the Oranj platform that use mutual funds or ETFs, Liberty One offers solutions that make direct investments into individual equity holdings.
Liberty One, which was founded in 2012 by advisors frustrated with mutual funds, ETFs and third-party asset managers, claims that directly investing in equities allows it to manage assets with precision and offer greater tax efficiency to investors.
“Liberty One’s focus on creating and promoting thought-leading investment allocations that are easy for advisors to position with clients make them a significant addition to our model marketplace. Their professional-packaged strategies lend themselves well to real world applications with clients,” said David Lyon, CEO and founder of Oranj, in released comments.
