Omaha-based Orion Advisor Technology today released a marketing automation platform for financial advisors.

The new platform, named Market*r, allows advisory firms to use “hyperpersonalized” materials on investment topics, marketing execution technology and an integration with Orion Planning that connects marketing opportunities to planning engagements.

“…For many advisors, implementing an effective marketing and communications program is easier said than done,” said Kellyl Waltrich, chief marketing officer of Orion, in released comments. “Hiring additional team members or outsourcing responsibilities to an agency can be expensive, and an additional effort to manage while running a business. Market*r gives advisors an intuitive, streamlined, and cost-effective solution that is backed by the strategic expertise of a full marketing team.”

Market*r accomplishes much of this by generating new campaigns across multiple channels on a monthly basis that allow advisors what Orion calls “Mad Libs” style customization capabilities. Through “intuitive” automation, it helps advisors update, schedule and distribute marketing material and automatically nurture prospects.

Orion also says the new capabilities will report on client and prospect activity and enable lead management on a single dashboard, allowing advisors to see the effectiveness of their marketing efforts.

Market*r will be available to advisors as part of Orion’s technology suite. Orion is offering Market*r’s capabilities in tiers, with both collateral-only and collateral-plus-technology options available, as well as higher tiered options that include consulting services, planning support, and custom campaign design and execution by Orion marketing professionals.
