Path Digital Offering Crypto Model Portfolios To Advisors
Path Digital Advisors, an SEC-registered investment advisor and cryptocurrency trading platform, says it is in talks to offer its managed cryptocurrency portfolios to registered investment advisors.

The Chicago-based firm is in talks with multiple RIAs to provide three of its managed portfolios and hopes to introduce more in the future. The least risky portfolio is heavily weighted toward bitcoin and Ethereum, while the riskiest has less bitcoin and more alternative cryptocurrencies.

Path can provide its model portfolios to advisors either directly to an advisor’s platform, or through a custody account where Path manages the portfolios and provides monthly performance updates to the advisor directly, the firm said.

Snappy Kraken Rolls Out Marketing System With Comprehensive Analytics
Snappy Kraken, the digital marketing firm for financial advisors, has officially released a platform, Snappy Kraken Enterprise, that allows advisors to run different marketing campaigns, track the success of those campaigns, and spotlight the likely interest level of potential clients.   

Besides publishing different marketing pieces, Snappy Kraken Enterprise also lets firms track the success of those campaigns by channel, looking at those who ran it. The platform can also tell advisors and their firm how likely it is that a potential client will become a full-fledged client.

The platform is geared for enterprise and mid-market firms. It is currently available for those firms with at least 10 advisors.

New Enhancements For eMoney Tools
eMoney Advisor has made separate upgrades to eMoney Access, an OpenAPI program, as well as to its interactive planning tool, Decision Center.

The eMoney Access upgrades will allow advisors to synchronize and automate the data between eMoney and the platforms used by most firms with application programming interfaces to integrate planning, projections and calculations and enhance the advisor and client experience. eMoney Access offers ready-made components, including a client’s net worth, asset allocation, their overall probability of success, a goal summary and an expense summary.

Decision Center has a new streamlined and intuitive user experience that allows advisors to work collaboratively with clients. It has an enhanced user interface and new report navigation.

Investments & Wealth Institute Adds Short-Form Educational Materials
The Investments & Wealth Institute, a professional association, has released two educational programs for financial advisors. One program offers shortened versions of the institute’s traditional offerings on subjects such as estate planning and retirement while another focuses on business owner strategies.

The Visual Insights series is a monthly, interactive, short-form educational content series with downloadable pages and video. The institute plans to release multiple modules on different subjects every month.

The topics will focus on education, investment, retirement and estate and tax planning. The first one is about the 4% rule, and it will be followed by a component on transferring assets from a 529 plan to a Roth IRA.

PortfolioAnalyst Adds Retirement Planner
Automated global electronic broker Interactive Brokers is adding a free portfolio management solution, entitled “Retirement Planner,” to its PortfolioAnalyst portfolio reporting software. The new tool will be simple and customizable, according to the firm.

The tool is designed to help investors examine their preparedness for retirement as well as set financial goals. It will also help to determine if there is sufficient cash flow for retirement. To do that, it gives investors the ability to input and tailor their data across their accounts and other financial holdings and assets, according to the firm.

PortfolioAnalyst already offers advisors other features such as multi-custody solutions, sophisticated reporting, benchmarks and risk metrics. It has a user-friendly interface and intuitive dashboard, which gives investors a holistic view of their finances, the firm said.

WealthBlock Offers New Enhancements To Tool
WealthBlock, a firm that streamlines capital raising, investment marketing and investor management for global asset managers, has made a series of upgrades to its platform to make it easier for advisors to interact with.

The firm has improved its onboarding and e-sign functionality, which will minimize investor dropouts caused by onboarding friction. It has also improved the investment marketing functions so firms do not waste time trying to connect with the wrong prospects. It also has investor reporting capabilities that reduce the capital losses that occur when investors become frustrated with an inefficient asset manager, the firm said.

The new upgrade also includes an interactive dashboard with custom calculations, datasets and visualizations and it distributes documents seamlessly with auto-notifications and engagement tracking, the firm said.
