Financial advisors’ clients will have simpler and faster access to their accounts through a new platform BNY Mellon’s Pershing has launched, the company announced Wednesday.

NetXServices is the firm’s next-generation integration portal, Pershing said in its announcement, which it made at the BNY Mellon/Pershing conference, Insite 2021.

The new portal is designed to make it easier and faster for clients to access the technological capabilities on the Pershing platform, which allows firms from fintechs to large enterprises to rapidly deploy next-generation applications for their clients, Pershing said.

“We are building the industry’s most digital-forward platform,” said Ram Nagappan, chief information officer for Pershing, in a statement. The NetXServices portal, which is part of the BNY Mellon Marketplace, provides clients and third-party providers with greater transparency for integrating with other offerings on the Pershing platform, Pershing said.

Pershing integrates with more than 200 third-party providers, using a variety of channels.

“Demand for integrations with our platform has increased threefold over the past year,” said Kit Lee, Pershing's director of technology and head of integration, in a statement. “The NetXServices portal is part of our multiyear investment in integration and will become a critical hub for firms looking for easy access to our capabilities and data.”
