Financial advisor Juan Militello, who managed more than $240 million in assets for Morgan Stanley, has joined Raymond James & Associates as a managing director in the firm’s employee advisor channel, according to the firm.
Militello, of Coral Gables, Fla., works in Raymond James’ South Florida Complex, bringing a dozen years of experience serving high-net-worth clients in the U.S. and Central and Latin America, a press release said.
Prior to his stint at Morgan Stanley, Militello was a relationship manager at HSBC for four years.
According to his statement in the release, Militello was attracted to Raymond James’ focus on the relationship between advisors and their clients.
“The firm understands that by supporting financial advisors with the right culture, technology and resources, we can better serve our clients,” he said of his move, effective last month.
Raymond James & Associates provides financial planning and wealth management services to individuals, high-net-worth families, corporations and municipalities.
