Two Mississippi financial advisors have jumped to Raymond James’ employee advisor channel from LPL Financial, where they managed more than $360 million in client assets, according to a press release.

Raymond James said Chas Gualano and Andrew Comans bring their firm, Gualano Comans Wealth Advisors of Raymond James, to Raymond James Advisor Select within Raymond James & Associates, it’s advisor channel, in Brandon.

The advisors, who serve business owners and family offices, are joined by client service associate Nicole Schuh.

“Raymond James offers us the opportunity to partner with a firm that shares our customer first mentality,” said Gualano in a statement.  “The firm prioritizes the customer experience and allows the advisor the flexibility to manage client portfolios with a wide range of offerings. This was important to our team as we prioritize service, client experience and being part of the community we serve.”

Gualano, senior vice president of wealth management at Gualano Comans, has spent more than 25 years in the financial services industry, 13 of those most recently with LPL..

Comans, who began his career at LPL in 2012, added that it was “an easy decision” to jump to Raymond James. He cited, among other attractions, the “technology incorporated into the planning process” at Raymond James.

“It has given us the freedom to serve our clients in a niche, rural market in Mississippi, that was not previously available,” said Comans, the firm's senior vice president of wealth management.
