Raymond James has landed a Colorado team of advisors who managed more than $300 million in client assets at Northwestern Mutual.

Craig Garrison, Timothy Hall and Matthew Strelau are affiliating their Garrison Financial Group with Raymond James Financial Services, the firm’s independent advisor channel, Raymon James announced in a release. The advisors are joined in the Littleton operation by investment broker Andrew Ekberg; client service associates Emily Gabriel, McKell Gurewitz, Misty Cummins, Andy Hackard, Jared Espinoza and Kate Kaye; and marketing consultant Katie Cline.

“We are thrilled to join Raymond James, a firm that aligns perfectly with our core values and commitment to our clients,” said Garrison, founder of the firm that advises clients ranging from business owners and corporate executives to families, pre-retirees and retirees. “Our clients' financial well-being has always been our top priority, and this move reinforces our ability to provide the sophisticated, personalized financial planning they deserve.”

Kirk Bell, central division director for RJFS, touted the “natural alignment” of the combination of Garrison Financial and Raymond James. “Our expanding footprint is reflective of Raymond James’ ability to offer the resources and support of a large, national firm combined with a boutique firm culture,” Bell said in a statement.
