Raymond James has promoted Michelle Lynch to the position of senior vice president, investments and Tampa Bay Complex manager for Raymond James & Associates (RJA), the firm’s employee advisor channel, RJA Florida Regional Director Bert White announced in a news release.

“Michelle brings a deep understanding of the financial advisor experience and knowledge of the various offerings and services at Raymond James,” said White in released comments. “We’re looking forward to Michelle’s leadership in this role as she leverages her extensive experience and creative perspectives to further recruit and support RJA advisors throughout the Tampa Bay market.”

The Tampa Bay Complex includes RJA financial advisors and branch associates throughout Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Florida.

Lynch, a Tampa native with two decades of experience with the firm, most recently served as vice president, Private Client Group (PCG), working with RJA’s regional directors and branch managers to recruit advisors and deliver practice management and client engagement support. Prior to that, she served as vice president of the Women Financial Advisors Network, where she was responsible for recruiting and retaining women advisors and providing support through education, practice management and coaching initiatives.

“Having the opportunity to support the advisors in my hometown market and to give back to the community in which I’ve lived my whole life is very exciting,” Lynch said in the news release. “I know how passionate our leaders and associates are when it comes to serving financial advisors and treating them as clients. I’m looking forward to continuing to tell our story and strengthening our presence in the Tampa Bay area.”

Lynch succeeds former Tampa Bay Complex Manager Doug Brigman, who was recently appointed to president of Raymond James’ Insurance Group.
